JOHOR BARU: Johor Local Government, Science and Technology Committee chairman Tan Hon Ping has confirmed that he is one of the two state executive councillors that have been dropped.

The Skudai assemblyman and state DAP secretary confirmed the matter when contacted Wednesday (April 17).

“Yes, I have been dropped from the state executive council and I will leave it to the party,” said Tan.

He said he was informed about this when he met Johor DAP chairman Liew Chin Tong on Monday (April 15).

Tan was among the few state executive councillors who was absent when Dr Sahruddin officially started his duty as the new Mentri Besar.
