CLARKSVILLE – With just four games left in the regular season, Austin Peay State University women’s basketball will be on the road for three of them, starting with a matinee 11 a.m., Thursday, contest against SIU Edwardsville at the Vadalabene Center.

The Govs took care of business against SIUE in their last meeting in the Dunn Center, to post back-to-back wins against SIUE for the first time since 2014. Another win against the Cougars would mark the first time in program history the Govs have won three-straight games against SIUE and would help the Governors take another step towards locking up their spot in the Ohio Valley Conference Women’s Basketball Championship.

This will be the second time this season that the Governors have been featured in an Education Day game on the road. Last time, the Govs beat Tennessee State, 87-55, at the Gentry Center.
